Scan a QR code

Use your camera, or upload a screenshot or photo. Works on phones and laptops, with no app to install.

Scanning happens in your browser — images and camera frames never leave your device.

Questions

How do I scan a QR code from a screenshot or photo?

Click “Upload an image” and choose the screenshot or photo. The code is read in your browser — nothing is uploaded.

Is it safe to open links from QR codes?

OneQR shows you the full link before opening it and never opens it automatically. Check the address, and be careful with codes stuck over posters or parking meters.

Why won't my QR code scan?

Make sure the whole code is in view, well lit and in focus. Very small, low-contrast or inverted (light-on-dark) codes are harder to read — try a closer, sharper photo.
